On September 18th, 2026, RWH Construction proudly hosted our 3rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament. All proceeds from the tournament go directly to the Kawartha Lakes Food Source. This year was a record breaking year, as we more than doubled last years donation. We raised $9,031.48 and 170 pounds of non perishables. To date, our Annual Charity Golf Tournament has raised $16,339.05 and 504 pounds of non perishables.
Giving back to our community has always been a core value of our company. The Kawartha Lakes Food Source is a non-profit organization that helps fill the shelves of 8 food banks and multiple community programs. Their Vision is “a community where everyone has reliable access to sufficient, safe, and nutritious food to maintain an active and healthy life.” The reason we chose this organization for our charity golf tournament, is that we could give back with the monetary donation, as well as collecting non-perishables at the tournament itself. Hunger is something that is universally understood, and we knew it was an organization our golfers and sponsors would care about.
We are incredibly thankful for all of the support we receive from our golfers, clients, past clients, and sponsors. We ensure a memorable event, a lot of fun, and great opportunities for golfers. It is a great day to connect with our suppliers, clients, local business friends – but at the heart of the day, it is about fighting hunger in our community.
We are looking forward to our 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, which will be held in September 2027.
