RWH takes care of: design and drawings, BCIN licensed drawings, permits for building, conservation authority, septic permits, interior design, flooring, cabinetry, counter, tile, trim packages, plumbing fixtures, and door hardware.
Our building team is able to construct: custom homes and cottages, renovations, additions, garages, boathouses, commercial renovations, commercial construction, excavation, and foundations including ICF.
By keeping everything in house, we have more eyes on the project. Having more people who are aware of the proceeding of your home leaves us more confident that everything is being addressed thoroughly.

Our Process
- Initial meeting to discuss the overall scope of the project.
- Provide requirements of the design, such as # of bedrooms, square footage, number of stories, etc...
- Provide special features of the property, such as size restrictions, trees, sun patterns, rock, services.
- Review ideas of the design, pictures, RWH portfolio of designs, floor plan.
- Come up with a general hand drawn plan and ideas to begin a preliminary design.
Preliminary Design
Our Process
- Provide floor plans with dimensions and 3D views from all exterior angles for discussion (10 hrs design time).
- Meeting to discuss and make changes to the proposed design.
- Provide revised design (10 hrs design time).
- 4 hours of design time to make minor changes and details.
- Meeting with designer, review 3D walkthrough, change color scheme, provide copies of floor plans and exterior views.
- Provide digital copy of preliminary design and 3D viewer.
Construction Drawings
Our Pledge
- Provide construction drawings based on approved preliminary design, including floor plans, elevations, roof plan, cross sections, details and window schedule.
- BCIN approved drawings by architectural technologist.
- Provide schedule 1 designer information for building permit.
- Provide 5 sets of full sized drawings.
- Provide electronic (PDF) copy of drawings.

- Review ideas of the design, pictures, RWH portfolio of designs, floor plan.
- Review of the budget so that materials can be selected to stay within budget.
Preliminary Design
Our Process
- Meeting to make initial material selections, design kitchen and bathrooms
- RWH to provide a spreadsheet with all selections itemized by room
- Kitchen/Vanities to be designed and 3D drawings provided
- Meeting to discuss and review all choices
- Provide pricing based off of drawings and selections
- Based on 20 hours design time
Site Specific Design
Our Pledge
- Meeting to review preliminary design and pricing
- Site visit to measure flooring, kitchen, doors, trim etc
- Make more specific material selections such as stairs, railings, paint colors, door hardware, cabinetry hardware, custom work.
- Revise pricing to suit prior to ordering materials
- Customer to sign off on kitchen and material selections/pricing
- Based on 16 hours of design time, plus cost per sqft
Construction / Installation Design
Extra Offering
- RWH to ensure all selections and necessary drawings are relayed to site
- RWH to ensure all materials are ordered and delivered to site
- Any errors/warranty by suppliers to be rectified
- Site meeting with customer to review installations and quality
- Based on 12 hrs design time
